Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Jawaz app and website (jawaz.app) handle information. Jawaz is a flight and hotel price-comparison service. We do not sell tickets and we do not process booking payments.

1. Account and cashback wallet (optional)

• Sign-in (Google, Apple or email via Google Firebase) is optional and only needed for the cashback wallet. We store your name, email and account ID.
• Bookings: each device has a random identifier (SubID) added to search links. Our partner Travelpayouts reports, for each booking made through Jawaz, the booking ID, date, amount, our commission and status — never the traveller’s name, passport or card details. We link these bookings to your account to calculate cashback.
• Withdrawals: when you request a payout we store your BenefitPay number or IBAN and the account holder’s name, used only to send your money.
• We never receive or store payment card data; payment happens on the booking site you choose.

2. Data stored on your device

Your recent searches (cities, dates, number of travellers) are stored locally on your device so you can reopen them from “My searches”. They are not sent to us, and you can delete them at any time in the app or by uninstalling it.

3. Search and booking sites

When you search, the search details (cities, dates, travellers, cabin class) are sent to our search engine at search.jawaz.app, operated by our partner Travelpayouts, to show prices from airlines and booking sites. When you choose an offer and continue to a booking site, anything you enter there is governed by that site’s privacy policy. These pages may use cookies to remember settings and attribute referrals.

4. Advertising

The app shows ads from Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect information such as your device advertising identifier, IP address, device type and OS, approximate location and ad interactions. On iOS, the advertising identifier (IDFA) is used only with your permission. You can limit personalised ads in your device settings. Learn more: How Google uses data.

5. Analytics and app quality

We may use Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to understand general app usage and fix crashes. These collect non-personal usage and device data (e.g. screens viewed, device model, crash reports) and are not used to identify you.

6. Notifications

If you allow notifications, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging to send travel deals and alerts. You can turn them off at any time in your device settings.

7. Sharing

We do not sell any information. The information above is shared only with service providers (Google, Travelpayouts and the booking sites you choose) as needed to run the service, or where required by law.

8. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information about them.

9. Your choices

You can clear your search history in the app, delete your account from “My account → Delete account”, and contact us with any request about your data. See Data deletion.

10. Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new version on this page with its date.
